OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES

The "Golf PEI Contest” (the “Contest”) is sponsored by “Golf Prince Edward Island ” (“Sponsor”). NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Offer void where prohibited.

Official Contest Period: June 6, 2008 5 PM EST (Contest Start Date)
to October 15th, 2008 at 5PM EST. (Contest Close Date)

1. HOW TO ENTER:
Entrants can enter online at http://www.golfpei.ca/contest

2. ELIGIBILITY:
The Contest is open to any individual who is:
· a legal resident of Canada or the United States.
· nineteen (19) years of age and older as of the drawing;
· not an employee of Sponsor, and its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and other coordinating agencies involved in the development, implementation and distribution of the Contest, or an immediate family member or are living in the same household of such an employee.
No entry fee, payment, or proof of purchase is necessary to enter the Contest. Void where taxed, restricted, or otherwise prohibited by law.

3. PRIZE DETAILS:
There will be four monthly draws for seven prizes. There are 112 prixes being available in total from which to draw upon. All prizes being offered will be included in each draw. Winners chosen will be removed from subsequent monthly draws. Chosen prizes will be removed from subsequent monthly draws. Winners will be notified by email within 3 days of name being chosen. Travel prize awards will be offered in the form of vouchers to be redeemed upon presentation at accommodation or golf course on Prince Edward Island. Winner of travel prices must book all travel arrangements through the Golf PEI reservation Center.  All other prizes will be mailed to winning recipients.

4. PRIZE RESTRICTIONS:
All travel plans for winner and any guest(s) must be made at one (1) time through Golf Prince Edward Island. Travel dates are subject to availability and holiday/blackout dates, conventions and special event periods, must include a Saturday-night stay, and must be completed by October 1, 2008. If winner is unable to travel by date indicated, prize will be forfeited, and an alternate winner may be selected. Winners will be solely responsible for all other expenses not specifically set forth herein that are incurred by winner or any guest(s), including, without limitation, meals, gratuities, souvenirs, travel insurance, rental car insurance, and any other incidentals.
In addition, winner and guest(s) are responsible for any federal, state, and local tax consequences and for compliance with all governmental reporting and payment requirements. Unless otherwise expressly included in the specified prize, the following are not included:
· Upgrades to business/first class.
· Mileage redemption.
· Alcoholic beverages.
· Headsets (on flights with in-flight audio and/or video programs).
· Merchandise or souvenirs.
· In-flight air-to-ground telephone calls.
· Transportation to and from the airport.

5. WINNER SELECTION:
Winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received. All decisions in all matters relating to this Contest made by Sponsor are final. Odds of winning depend solely on the total number of valid entries received. Winner will be notified by e-mail. If Sponsor, using commercially reasonable efforts, is unable to contact the potential winner within ten (10) business days from the first contact attempt, or if a potential winner has not, or does not comply with these Official Rules, then such person shall be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected.

6. GENERAL RULES & CONDITIONS:
By participating in this Contest, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules. Winners will be required to sign and complete an Affidavit of Eligibility and a Liability and Publicity Release (where legally permissible) and return the signed documents within ten (10) days of receipt of attempted delivery to receive the specified prize, otherwise the specified prize may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. Each guest of a winner will be required to sign and return a Liability Release and Publicity Release (where legally permissible) prior to issuance of travel documents. If any guest is a minor, minor must have a parent or legal guardian sign the documents on the minor's behalf and the minor must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Each entrant acknowledges that any information provided by entrant may be disclosed to Sponsor(s), and that Sponsor(s) may send marketing communications to entrants in accordance with each entrant's “opt-in” selection. Winner gives Sponsor the right to use winner's name, voice, picture, portrait and likeness for advertising and promotion purposes without further compensation, where permitted by law.

7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:
SPONSOR, AND ITS PARENT, SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, SHAREHOLDERS, EMPLOYEES, ADVERTISING AND PROMOTION AGENCIES INVOLVED IN THIS CONTEST SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY AND SHALL BE HELD HARMLESS BY ENTRANT FOR ANY DAMAGE, LOSS OR LIABILITY TO PERSON OR PROPERTY, DUE IN WHOLE OR IN PART, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, BY REASON OF ENTERING THE CONTEST, THE ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, USE OR MISUSE OF ANY PRIZE, OR WHILE PREPARING FOR, PARTICIPATING IN, AND/OR TRAVELING TO AND FROM ANY PRIZE-RELATED ACTIVITY. Any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Contest, but in no event, attorney's fees.

8. TAMPERING:
If for any reason the Contest is not capable of running as planned, including tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, or any other cause beyond the control of Sponsor that corrupts, impairs or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Contest, Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, extend or suspend the Contest and/or prizes. In such event, Sponsor may award prizes in a random drawing from all eligible entries received up to the date of cancellation or suspension. Sponsor further reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with or in any way corrupts the entry process. Sponsor may prohibit an entrant from participating in the Contest or winning a prize if, in Sponsor's sole discretion, Sponsor determines that said entrant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest by cheating, hacking, deception, or other unfair playing practices (including the use of automated quick entry programs) or intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other entrants or Sponsor representatives.

9. SPONSOR: Golf Prince Edward Island

LIABILITY AND PUBLICITY RELEASE
Golf Prince Edward Island will provide the winner (“Prize Winner”) with the following prize (“Prize”)based upon four monthly draws for seven prizes each month for the period commencing June, 2008 until September 2008 as indicated. Prizes drawn for include:

1 X 5 nights - 4 rounds trip (excludes airfare/transport costs to PEI))
1 X 3 nights - 3 rounds trip (excludes airfare/transport costs to PEI)
1 X 2 nights - 3 rounds trip (excludes airfare/transport costs to PEI)
10 X Golf PEI windbreakers
10 X one dozen Callaway balls
1 X 1 day short game course - Canadian Golf academy
5 X free pass to The Links at Crowbush Cove
5 X free lobster dinner for one at the New Glasgow Lobster Suppers
50 X Golf PEI hats
5 X Islander cards for 2009 use
20 X free rounds at the 10 of the top 100 courses in Canada list
3 X Callaway drivers

PRIZE.
1. Prize Winner represents that he or she is eligible to receive the Prize in accordance with the Contest Official Rules and will sign an affidavit to that effect.
2. Prize Winner acknowledges and agrees that the Prize will be subject to the following restrictions:
Prize valid for travel until 1 October 2008. We recommend making reservations before August 1 ’08 in order to prevent disappointment if requesting dates August 15 '08 - 30 September 08. Substitutions not permitted.
3. Any tax liability for acceptance of the Prize is the sole responsibility of the Prize Winner.
4. Any changes made after Prize Winner has booked the Prize will result in an administration fee of two hundred dollars ($200.00) per change. Once tickets have been issued, changes may not be made.

PUBLICITY.
Prize Winner grants Golf Prince Edward Island and its affiliates permission to use, reproduce, exhibit and display, in any media and as it sees fit, Prize Winner's name, voice, and likeness, alone or with others, in whole or in part, for the purpose of advertising and promoting Golf Prince Edward Island (“Publicity Rights”). Prize Winner acknowledges and agrees that Golf Prince Edward Island will be the exclusive owner of the results and proceeds of such promotional efforts. Prize Winner releases and discharges Golf Prince Edward Island from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action that Prize Winner may have in connection with the use and exercise of any of the Publicity Rights.

LIABILITY.
PRIZE WINNER, AND HIS/HER HEIRS, EXECUTORS, AND ADMINISTRATORS, WAIVE, RELEASE, DISCHARGE, AND AGREE TO INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS Golf Prince Edward Island AND ITS RESPECTIVE AFFILIATES, PARENTS AND SUBSIDIARIES FROM AND AGAINST ANY AND ALL LIABILITIES, LOSSES, DAMAGES, EXPENSES, CLAIMS, SETTLEMENTS OR JUDGMENTS OF ANY KIND WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ATTORNEYS' FEES, WHICH PRIZE WINNER MAY HAVE, OR WHICH ANY OTHER PARTY MAY HAVE AGAINST PRIZE WINNER, ARISING DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY FROM PRIZE WINNER'S ACCEPTANCE OR USE OF THE PRIZE OR PARTICIPATION IN THE SWEEPSTAKES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY INJURY, ACCIDENT, ILLNESS, DEATH OR DAMAGE TO PERSON OR PROPERTY OR DELAY OR INCONVENIENCE OF ANY KIND SUSTAINED OR ARISING OUT OF THE PRIZE OR CAUSED BY REASON OF ANY DEFECT, NEGLIGENCE, OR WRONGFUL ACT OR OMISSION BY ANY THIRD PARTY, HOTEL, AIRLINE OR ANY OTHER SUCH PARTY PROVIDING SUCH SERVICES OR FACILITIES AS PART OF THE PRIZE. IN NO EVENT WILL Golf Prince Edward Island'S AGGREGATE, CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO PRIZE WINNER AND GUESTS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SWEEPSTAKES OR THE PRIZE, EXCEED THE APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE OF THE PRIZE.

DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY.
THE PRIZE IS PROVIDED “AS IS.” Golf Prince Edward Island MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO THE PRIZE, OR ANY PORTION OF THE PRIZE. Golf Prince Edward Island EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS THE WARRANTIES OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND MERCHANTABILITY.

MISCELLANEOUS.
If any provisions in these terms and conditions is invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be construed, limited, modified, or, if necessary, severed, to the extent necessary to eliminate its invalidity or unenforceability, and the other provisions of these terms and conditions will remain in full force and effect.
